As fall weather slowwwly starts creeping back in we wanted to share a wedding that somehow slipped by the blog last fall, photographed by the incredible Scott Chester. King Plow was the perfect picture of fall :: flowers in shades of whites + deep fall colors of reds, different kinds of apples scattered all around (and an apple tree!), and even the chuppah incorporated baby crab apples. Jen and her mom were such lovely ladies, and just so sweet to work with. To see more images hop over to Scott’s blog! Thank you Jen + Jared for letting us be a small part of your big day. Hoping your first year of marriage has been amazing. Happy [almost] fall!

While most people think pumpkins, leaves, and gourds are the way to go for an autumn theme, apples definitely come to my mind as the perfect autumn fruit! This would be a great way to go for the couple who loves autumn, but doesn’t want their fall wedding to be just like all the others. The fun thing about an apple theme is that you can play off red, green, or yellow as your main color!

Looove the crab apples–they remind me of fall at my parents’ house.
